Privacy & disclosures

Updated October 29, 2026. This first version is designed for adults choosing gifts. Please do not enter children’s names, birth dates, addresses, school details, or other identifying information.

Your gift searches

We process the age, interests, budget, preferences, and optional text you provide to generate gift suggestions. Follow-up requests include a short history of your current conversation. This version does not save conversations or recipient profiles in a database.

AI processing

Paid AI is currently disabled. Gift searches use our curated catalog and matching rules; they are not sent to an AI provider.

When AI is enabled, your search information and recent conversation are sent to OpenAI to interpret preferences and suggest items from our catalog. We request that API responses are not stored through the API’s response-storage feature. The provider may still retain data under its own security and abuse-monitoring policies. If AI is disabled or unavailable, the finder uses catalog rules and labels that mode on the results.

Saved gifts

Favorites are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are not synced to an account or shared with other visitors. Remove a gift with its heart button, or clear this site’s browser data to remove all saved gifts.

Technical data

Our host and AI provider may process technical request information to deliver and protect the service. The recommendation service briefly holds a hashed network identifier and request count in memory to limit repeated requests. This version has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Fonts may load from Google Fonts.

Shopping links & affiliate disclosure

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Some shopping links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase.

Purchases take place on the retailer’s website. That retailer controls the transaction, delivery, returns, and its own data practices. Matched product links point to a specific Amazon product ID. Where an exact listing remains unconfirmed, a clearly labeled search link may appear. Sellers, selected variations, price and availability can change; check the item before purchasing.

Recommendation limitations

Budget ranges are estimates. Product availability, prices, and shipping dates are not checked in real time. Descriptions are gift guidance, not hands-on reviews. Read product warnings and manufacturer instructions before use.
